Scenes from the April 1 Hay Unloading and Garage Sale

Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers and Phyllis Davis, who donated the proceeds from the Davis Farm garage sale to the cow fund, we had a highly successful day on April 1. Here are a few photos from the day's events:

Garage Sale and Hay Unloading at Davco Farm on April 1

On April 1, Davco Farm, the longtime winter home of the Southborough Belties, will be having a garage sale. All proceeds will be donated to the Breakneck Hill Cow Fund. The sale will be from 9 am - 2 pm at 61 Breakneck Hill Road in Southborough.

Also on April 1, there will be a hay unloading at the farm at 10 am. The dedicated cow fund volunteers will be there, and if you'd like to chip in, we could sure use the help!

Another Family Chips in to Feed the Cows

Ellen Borreliz and her family recently took a turn feeding the cows. They've passed along a few pictures.

Cow Feeding for Fun and Profit. Well, Fun, Anyway.

These great pictures from Shelli Sandrew show how much fun feeding the cows can be. In the first, her son Ben Fowle is manning the feeder...

The second shows the cows jockeying for position for a bite to eat in a blizzard..

Scenes from the December 11 Hay Unloading

Despite fresh snow on the ground and a slippery road that required chains on the hay truck, we had a full turnout for the hay unloading on December 11. After the hay was in the barn, the cows made their annual trek across Breakneck Hill Road into their winter home. Thanks to everyone for all of your help, and email us if you'd like to be involved in future hay unloadings.

Thanks to Southborough Troop #92

The Breakneck Hill Cow Fund (and the cows) would like to thank Southborough Troop #92 for helping to unload hay on November 20.

A Welcome to Our Supporters

The Breakneck Hill Cow Fund flyers have just been mailed out, which means we may get a few new visitors to this web site. We plan to update the site whenever we have news, or even just a few good pictures, so check back often. Remember, the cows are supported by the community -- if you find yourself taking Breakneck Hill Road just so you can look at them or if having them there when you walk the land makes it that much more enjoyable, please consider donating to the fund so we can ensure they will be here forever.

Also, remember to check out our booth at Southborough Heritage Days on October 10! We'll have T-shirts, wristbands and other cow-related goodies for you.
